    • The company has a brutal history. No confidence in management. That said, they are still in the game but I don't see meaningful gains until the PIII news comes out. I'm not pulling this out of my ash. There is a an easily researched history of favorable news releases over the last two years and the stock is flatlined. This is now a show-me stock.

      • Apparently there seems to be some confusion amongst those posting questions and answers. It works like this: There are two DCVAX-L Phase lll approved. Currently one of the trials has begun at the Kings College; earliest preliminary results should be forthcoming by 2014 Q2 The second Phase 111 trial has some 700 enrollees and awaits a partnering arrangement.
Phase l/ll has just been approved for DCVAX-Direct and is commencing as we speak with a population of 36 enrolees involving six (or so) solid tumor cancers. In these unblended trials, the absence of toxicity will enable the patient to seamlessly enter Phase ll where hopefully there will be some tumor regression
noted. Partial or perhaps disappearance of the tumor(s will perhaps lead the FDA to designate DCVAX-Direct as an approved therapy...
As I said in a previous post, the chances of preclinical success are few and far between, so I would be patient and await whatever results are released, all without losing perspective about the realities.

      • when do you estimate phase 3 to begin?

    • See my earlier post. Also, should the l/ll trial be successful, our company would be well advised to maintain a stance of waiting for the larger pharmas to contact it in hopes of receiving some kind of
dialogue leading to an arrangements of sorts which can be left to the reader's imagination...

    • This trial is extremely speculative, since it's the first human trials, and it's trying in an area where others have failed in the past. In this case, still, the results matter, but if we see positive Phase II results (or positive results beyond the safety information from Phase I) it should jump up.

    • Watch the Chemotherapy drug companies (even those with immunotherapy trial candidates). If they start to tank/slide, you'll know what those in the know know.

    • I guess people are taking a wait to see stand since this is a new technology. The good news is that we do not have wait too long to learn if tumors shrink after vaccination.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • As I have stated before, I personally don't think we will see substantial increase in SP from this announcement or the announcement of Germany.

We are all invested in NWBO because we believe in their therapy, but it's undervalued because others don't. I think the past has tarnished the company's image and that won't be overome until results are released and or a partnership is agreed upon. Until then these smaller announcements should reassure you as an investor and give you more opportunity to take advantage of a low sp!!

Also remember that although this trial has been initiated, it will probably be a couple of weeks before the first patients are treated, so be patient (Chess)....excuse the pun!

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Welcome to the stock market.....
Expect a delayed reaction.....should see a move to the upside......slow and steady is what we want.

      • Agree with pghpa412!! And for the army of the hopeful, the market place for NWBO has very little depth making it very difficult to purchase large amounts at this time except by running the stock up. Smart buyers will wait for some results to come in, then buy form those anxious to take quick profits. For those naysayers, remember that it is the FDA allowing CLINICAL trials for DCVax-Direct not only because of the preclinical results but also in light of all of the trial data it has received from all of the trials so far. And for all of you itching to see the stock explode to the upside, remember that animal studies successes in most cases are not to be seen with human patients.

      • That's what TSRX did (slow and steady) even after it became clear it was going to be the next antibiotic blockbuster. However, NWBO will have a jump beyond all jumps once (if) the results start trickling in 70 plus days from now. Linda Powers made clear in some of her smaller venue speeches just how fast the immune system can take out cancer when the right dendritic master cell is utilized. We are talking a week to a few weeks. The question will be enrollment rate, which should be fast because we are talking about several different cancers (smaller patient number subsets) with patients and doctors that want to be in this trial. Anyway, if all goes well, it will go well faster than anyone is used to....think chip kelly fast. "Speed Kills" cancer. Additionally, Launch speed is already a forgone conclusion, and the FDA will literally bend over backward to avoid being the bottleneck on this one.
