In the past couple of years, almost everywhere I traveled, I saw Tripadvisor logo on numerous store front windows. Many hotel managers had asked us to leave reviews on Tripadvisor website when we checked out. I got this field info from remote places in remote countries like Nepal, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, etc. I did not see this kind of coverage by Travelzoo, Hotels.com, Bookings.com, or Priceline, That is why I started buying their stocks and am happy I did.
But no one comes close to the number and breadth of TripAdvisor reviews. And now with metadata, the user experience is even better. Also, their user photos and videos are completely unique and helpful.
I wouldn't dream of planning a vacation without using TripAdvisor, and I travel a lot. I also post reviews and photos after my trips - only to TripAdvisor (other than Facebook). I bought the stock and it's up 88% from the day I bought it. It's all around goodness.
