    Is this NEON?
    Samsung S24C770T – Rare breed touch-capable monitor
"Samsung’s entry into the Windows 8 touch-screen monitor arena, Samsung S24C770T is a sharp looking 24-inch model that uses MVA (multi-domain vertical alignment) panel technology to produce bold, accurate colours and a highly detailed picture. Its 10-point capacitive touch screen and sliding stand make it a good fit for Windows 8 users, as does its bezel-free design."

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • vix, Read your own message....It clearly states that it uses capacitance touch. Neonode's official statement regarding Windows 8 certification is..."Neonode is working together with Microsoft and the OEM's to make their products Windows 8 certified parallel to the development of the actual products". We will not learn about Windows 8 certification until a product is launched that includes Neon's tech and has the cert..

Richard_x_Roe....Where have you been? Neonode's current technology was not available 40 years ago...or even 2 years ago! Neon has designed around and patented methods to eliminate or minimize the early limitations of IR tech....the bezel, dust interference, palm misinterpretation, etc..

BTW, IR tech is considerably more hot and cold tolerant, faster, water resistant, and cheaper than cap tech. These advantages will provide a niche soon enough.

    • No, it certainly isn't NEON. This monitor is Windows 8, capable of 10 Touch Points. NEON's sensors are not Windows 8 compatible and are not capable of 10 Touch Points. NEON's sensors used an outdated, 40+ year old technology.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell
