Glad to see Blackstone is taking a pro active approach to the Service Workers Union. The Old Hilton management always gave in to the union demands.
Frankly, Blackstone ahould consider replacing all the striking workers as Hyatt did in Boston. It would be miserable for the tourists. However, the replacemnt workers would have better attitudes because they would not have "union metality".
I read comment from a Hilton Hawaiian Village Housekeeper stating she did not like mainland Wall St firms trying to destroy their jobs.
If this person were well informed she would know many years ago the Bishop Estate, the primary benefactor to the Kamahamaha Schools in Hawaii owns a big chunk of Goldman Sachs, one of those nasty Wall Street firms.
Many employess at the Hilton Hawaiian Village have benefited from the Bishop Estate genorsity because Goldman Sachs is profitable.
