The Blackstone Group L.P. Message Board

  • billlewisiv billlewisiv May 9, 2012 6:00 PM Flag long can this keep sucking?

What is this? Krispy Kreme from 2005-06? Crox from 2008-09? DNDN from last year? NFLX from a few months back?

Where's the natural disater, the company implosion that would cause this collapse? Has BX invested half its portfolio in solar stocks?

This stock price collapse is one big ball of cr*p. According to all sources, the economic woes of '08-'09 played right into Blackstone's hands. They've been snapping up distressed properties and businesses at bargain bin prices for the last three years. Average analyst price target on the stock is 19 bucks.

So what gives? I guess the fix is in.
