big westernnews article on MGN claims

I believe Revett to be part owner of these claims.

    Bakie refutes Dobbs' report
    Staking a Claim

"Judge Wheelis gave us the adit, and Mines Management got the shaft. Mr. Dobbs got the shaft. "

You recently sold your claims to a different company named Optima, but there is very little information available about who is behind that company. What can you tell me about that transaction?
BAKIE - What we’re doing is selling our claims to these people, and it hasn’t been completely done yet. There is earnest money down on the claims. And I don’t want to talk about it until the deal is done.

The only thing I will tell you is that the company we have with us is serious about doing something – mining. And they are in a position to make things happen, and I don’t think Glenn Dobbs is. I might be mistaken, but I don’t think he could do it even if everything went his way.

We would like to see the mine up and running, employing local people. This company that I got behind me, it would happen. You’re not going to see people from China or Boise, Idaho. You will see local people running the mine.
Can you tell me anything about Optima? Do you know anything about that company?

BAKIE – I do, but I’m not going to say much about that right now.
The company, I will say, is serious. They are not little-time guys. We have a meeting scheduled, and there will be about five billionaires flying in and sitting at this table. They are taking this seriously. I will say that. Other than that, I am not at liberty to say.
