    Bought TJX back at 22....

This company has just been fantastic! I think nothing changes in the near future. People still want cheap clothes! It's that simple.....haha....just ask my wife. We went to our local TJ Max.....the place was packed. People are going to be stressed about money for quite some time. My guess is that this company will continue to outperform for a long time now. Save those pennies and get your hot brands for's that simple.

    • Its the same way with our Marshalls store, locally. Everyone (including myself), LOVES our Marshalls and i think that people will fully shop there in the months ahead going into Christmas. I have been buying into TJX stock every winter for the last couple of seasons. Right now, with the markets getting increasingly schizo' I purchased 100 share a week ago, and just going to forget about it from here on out. With this stock.....I know I can relax and the best indicator on its health is going shopping in one of its stores and seeing how everyone else loves to shop there, too! BTW.....I don't even see the local Super Wal*Marts clothing move anymore.....not like they use to!

    • You were smart at 22! I just bought yesterday because, everytime I go into TJ Maxx, the store is loaded with shoppers that are buying. These shoppers don't have tattoos and piercings and sloppy clothes. Instead, the shoppers are well dressed and look like the next meal will be no problem. The inventory in the store is plentiful and I can tell that the turnover of merchandise is swift. I never go in but what I don't come out with something. I bet they have a great Christmas.
