In 1980 CEO Lee Iacocca worked for a dollar a year until Chrysler got back on their feet.CEO Edward G. Roth makes at least $1068 a day.. Who here thinks CEO Roth should receive a $1 a day on days when the lights at the plant are out,the plant is shut down and no one is working. This getting paid when the plant is shut down business is hard for me to understand. I think accepting a $1 a day on down days would go a long way in regaining shareholder confidence.
New Ford Company CEO, Jim Mullaly, came from the Boeing Company's Commercial Aircraft Division is also being paid $1 per year at Ford. Mr. Mullaly is being rewarded for turning the Ford Company around to becoming profitable again with stock options designed for that specific goal. These were and are capable CEOs. I'm afraid Gary Roth is on the verge of facing a big legal action suit, and is setting himself up to crash and burn like the CEO of Enron due to deliberate incompetence. Go ahead Gary, Do you Feel Lucky...Punk?
