You shorts need to stop smoking that weed .Bad for WLT is good for ANR just like a strike in Colombia . Why? Because when you have a low cost of Met /PCI coal as ANR you can wheel and deal. When you have a high cost as WLT you have no room but a fixed cost you have to sell at.
Now the export channels are not the same. We own 40.6 percent of DTA and have a port for at least 8 million tons. We also have other ports where we can export 25 to 35 million tons total.
Now far as domestic markets with WLT having cost about $200 a ton and ANR having $55.51 we can sell cheaper than them and make a profit. I believe you will see ANR fill some of that Colombia coal that has been coming here. At least 40 million tons has come from Colombia to the US each year. Will with 85 percent shut down ANR can fill that demand of almost 2.75 million tons since the 7th of Feb if we get the chance. Because we have the resources and people to do it. No other company can come close to what ANR can put out.
