"musta flew over my head" haha...I don't think so, I just don't believe yer thinking is correct on this one sayfucon ! Watch it run back above $18.00 closer to ex-dividend if the market holds up.
Pls forgive my piggybacking on your msg, but it has been so long since I have initiated a msg, I have forgotten how. I have question about DUK's EPS. According to Yahoo, DUK's EPS are .94 vs a dividend of .98. According to Value Line, earnings for the first two quarters of 2010 were .34 for lst quarter, and .29 for the second quarter. VL was estimating .39 for 3rd quarter. Earnings are now out, showing everything - revenues, net, etc up over 2009, but I could not find in the quarterly report on Yahoo any per/share data. Can anyone enlighten me? If one takes Yahoo's word for it, the earnings do not cover the divvy. Thanks, JJ
Seeing as how the price now is around $18.00 per share, I would say "$10.00" was the right price....Whatever your investment was in $$$, I'm sure you are making a nice return % wise with the dividend !!
