Duke Energy Corporation Message Board

DUK board members need to be replaced,

ALL OF THEM! Who would believe anything they have to say in the future? They can't be trusted. Everything they do, say, or recommend in the future will be questioned. All of them should be replaced as soon as possible because they are all deceitful and they are hurting the stock price now and will in the future. Just my opinion.

    • Lets hope there is more to the story here than meets the eye. If so, someome at the company needs to make a statement. Otherwise it has the appearance of a board conspired lie and power grab. I am holding now but do not invest with liars and cheats. Liars and cheats self deal and screw the shareholder. Duke the next Enron?

    • I was going to tell you about the town hall meeting we had with them in our county re garding the "price rate request" of 17% (when they new it would be turned down and theyd get the 7-8% they really wanted...the reps that sat in for them were ringers (rigged)....anyway, I just decided to tell you only one thing - sell !

    • This reminds me a little of when Nations Bank took over Bank of America. B of A had a CEO type who was to come over with the merger and get some high position. But once he arrived they changed their mind and he got one of those severances with a lot of zeroes. There was more to the story on that one. In this case it sounds premeditated and much less forgiveable. This type of action is not, in my opinion, like something Jim Rogers would do. He has a very good reputation in Charlotte and in the energy business. It would be a shame if it is forever tarnished over something this sloppy.
