I hate to tell you that the future of DUK and most businesses are tied to the political world. Ultility companies at this time are under the thumb of the Obama administration. His green goals along with the EPA are greatly responsible for the drop in DUK pps. You cann't seperate business and gov't today. Last year the gov't passed over 40,000 new rules, regulations laws and taxes that directly affect business. And Obama has great plans to hinder utility companies.
