Sequenom: Survey indicates surprisingly high awareness, enthusiasm and
readiness to adopt - Rodman & Renshaw (14.63)
Rodman & Renshaw conducted a survey of 31 practicing
obstetricians/gynecologists, with an average of 340/pregnancies managed by
physician/year. Their results show: 1) high awareness of SQNM's SEQureDx test for Down syndrome; 2) uncertainty about alternative prenatal screening tests; and 3) unsatisfactory accuracy and patient confusion with standard screening.
Firm says while it is difficult to predict the details of the initial adoption ramp for SEQureDx, over 30% of the responders were either ready to widely use it now or once more data from 5,000 patients are available. They are confident that this screen addresses a clear unmet medical need, and will be a welcomed
addition in prenatal screening by both patients and physicians.
Stoob, you really need to take a break. This statement was your all time dumbest. If naywhere near 30% used tis test soon after it was available, the stock would probably be 50 in a heart beat. Lazzard was hoping for about 10% of the market by the middle of 2010.
A$$WIPE; MY fucing point is a pumping W St co. doesn't do market research
sample size of 31???? statistically valid? how were they selected - randomly??? sure! U bet! just about as valid as SQNM's recent test results - LOL!!!:)
and I can just hear the interviewer (done by employees in R&Rs boiler room leading the poor responders!!!!!
do U really believe what they R saying? Can U really believe that R&R is stooping to "market research" w/ sample size of 31 to pump a stock? What does this really say? Think about it!!!! long and hard!!
30% right out of the gate is NOT TOO SHABBY!
If Dr. Smith is offering a test that has zero risk and high accuracy then his competitor Dr. "triple test" Jones better get on board or he'll start losing patients. You know how the word gets around with women. What women want women get.
