Why have no analysts discussed how much revenue is forthcoming and not being reported under the guise of the accounting rules, legally or not, used by these insiders accumulating stock fraudulently? This price does not take into account any good news just continued growth! "Parabolic" growth that the CEO decided to stop providing monthly updates because the numbers became staggering like this $31.25 share price!
In the last conference call, the CEO during the Q&A appeared to focus attention by his responses to the upcoming patent appeal ruling . Why? Is it really tha important, since "upwards of 96% of patent litigations settle." This upcoming ruling may be used to manipulate the stock price but unlikely key to Sequeoms bright future. The CEO should have been taking about their products and increasing sales!
First Q revenue recorded, key word recorded, was $40 million of which $30 million was from diagnostics. That $30 million represents just "35% attributal to diagnostic tests performed in th first quarter. That 35 percent is satistically significant and means there is $60 million not on the books yet! Total 1st quarter income was over 100 million dollars! Next quarter will be much higher too!
10 X $400M (Revised Est Earnings) Divided by 120 M Shares= $33.33
Who in the heck estimates 375 million dollars in earnings for 2013? Q1 is in, and SQNM has 38.5 mil; Q4 is half over, and I've seen some 50 mil estimates. So that leaves almost 300 mil for Q3 and Q4. We all hope so, but even if we got it, that's revenue, not earnings.
Most folks without kaleidoscope eyes and with their feet actually touching the ground hope to be profitable by the end of the year.
Don't confuse him with anything resembling reality or good sense - he'll write to the SEC and the Martian Liberation Army.......
The accounting approach is the accounting approach.
There is no point in talking about what COULD be counted if it's not being counted.
As you say, best case is some profit in a business with slowing growth.
Worst case is IP collapse and a test at $750 a pop - which would take SQNM to junk status (certainly under $1).
That's why the stock is $4 and not the $25 the loony spreadsheet says it should be.
