I supported the BC parnters guys because they will be the ones who would push for an acquisition. I liked Austrian when I met him in person but I think he is stuck trying to find a top guy to come into this sinkhole. The one issue with the class action suits that may be viewed to have merit is that they did not disclose that the tax credit they were counting on was so risky and was not a sure thing. Hard to blame all of that on their accountants, as disclosure has been a selective proposition with Odland. Unfortunately this is a company that could legitimately make a dramatic turnaround if the employment numbers continue to improve. They have huge exposure in CA, TX and FL which all have big upsides, and they have cut expenses to the bone. The BSD contract division has to hope that people think that the safest airline to fly is the one who just had a crash, meaning that they will be vigilant in monitoring all contracts going forward.
well said, I also supported the BC guys and Austrian and nobody else. If they are "for sale" no strong CEO is going to join unless it is to take them private, which is always a possibility. They could sell off shares of Mexico possibly sell part of the European operations and then do an IPO in about 2 years.
