Former Office Depot CEO Dave Fuente has resigned from the board of directors.
The timing is interesting.-
It will drop tomorrow in my opinion.

He has been as relevant to Office Depot as YOU are on this meaningless board...
The true puppet master is Austrian!-- he fired Nelson, promoted himself, recruited Odland, took 4 years to fire him, promoted himself again.. yet takes NOO accountability or responsability...

Dave was one of the great CEO's. He made a lot of money, loved Office Depot and you knew it. Never considered mass firings as an alternative to raising profits. If I could work for a Dave organization, I would be right there. He's leaving because he's been there for 25 years. I guess he is tired of what he now sees. Good luck Dave.

I agree. If he had been running the show all these years ODP would be a contender today and not in the horrible shape that it is in.
