Do they have all the needed recovery equiptment aboard
or did they forget to bring the lifting device?..no one has ever recovered stuff from such a depth...hope they are successful..but things are looking iffy..this is a very complicated venture...wonder if it will make the nightly news?
No Johnfox188 they did not go over the check-list of items to bring for the salvage, they forgot to install the engine and put fuel aboard...there are you happy now you idiot! P.S as of now you are on ignor, as you are not worth responding to!
Agree. Even though we see the SW moving today does not mean that they have not been preparing for this expedition for 8-9 months. The owners of the SW certainly have had access to information that the public does not. Their equipment is incredibly sophisticated. In fact in many regards is better than omex. I suspect that their guys are incredibly agile with ROV's given the nature of their work with deep sea oil companies. Working with Odyssey is probably less stressful than working with the deep sea drillers. I would hope this will spur odyssey to develop an ROV to help with the Victory project or deep sea mining. Whether we want to acknowledge it or not Victory is a multi-year project/commitment(even after they find a billion in gold coins :> ).
