Odyssey Marine Exploration Appoints Mark B. Justh to Board of
Could this guys experience be directly related to the direction of Oceanica? International experience and real estate experience with Odyssey sitting on a very valuable chunk of real estate that has foreign interest??? I don't think so !
Short answer is Yes. This type of appointment gives outside funds confidence that an investment banker with experience is helping to guide decision-making. Oceanica assay report is due very soon. Company has said it has spoken to at least 3 of top 5 investment banks about monetizing this investment well before actual mining. This move is consistent with that strategy.
Pre-mining monetization will almost certainly be required because the U.N.is not expected to issue permits for seabed mining of phosphorites before 2016. (There is concern that nearby fishing, if any, could be negatively impacted by these mining operations.)
