We might have different views on that but the fact is that he has stopped all information flow to investors, no news, no announcments and no deals. I just wonder what is going on in AVN? Why is AVN prepared to loose couple of hundreds of small investors, not gain new investors, drive the volume so low that 5,000 shares can drop the price by 5%, opened door to shorters and traders to play with the price of the stock almost at will and drive the price of AVN at such low level? Good fundamentals but no progress on business side at all. No deals. Why? Anyone has any clue?
Something just does not sound right.
Well, it depends on your POV. For example, if I were the CEO of a small bio, I'd probably be focused 85% on the future of the biz, 10% on the day to day, and maybe 5% on people like us. Remember, this guy didn't call us all and sell us on his stock, we did it to ourselves. As much as I've suffered with this, I've been in since 97 and I don't see any point in bailing now. If it flies, great, if it sinks, then I take two aspirin and move on.
there's no reason why the Abreva/antiviral results languish in a buried FAQ when it could be put out as a press release
if he's not for us then he can only be against us !
we need to vote his sorry ass out the next chance we get
Management is not showing any market savy. They sit on the $150k NIH news now when they releases a PR in August of 2000 about a $100k grant. This approach is unprincipled and relfects a disinterested attitude towards shareholder value.
All I hear from you are messages full of hope that ignore reality and make lame excuses.
So don't go around acting like self-rightous assho**. What the hell is your problem?
winkles... I agree with your point and that was my concern. Is Yak helping institutions to buy at low price? That fits my theory that low price is artifically maintanied for the benefit of some. Winkle... we are in complete agreement. Institustions are buying but someone is helping them to buy at the low price IMO.
<<Your points are valid, vegas, but tell me why have institutions drastically increased their position in AVN during this news drought?>>
What do you base that on. The daily volume on this stock is too low to back up your claim IMO.
