I listened to the conference call. Volumes have started to increase and with that cash flow. WM to returning value to shareholders via dividend and prudent buy backs. This year they also want to trim the debt. Although they have authorization to buy back $500 Million in stock, most buy backs will come from cash generated from sales of non-core assets.
Continue to replaces vehicle fleet with natural gas trucks. 90% of all vehicles to be purchased will be natural gas powered. WM has also been involved in hauling and processing fracking waste in areas where they have operations close to drilling activity, particularly in PA & OH.
This company has some serious headwinds that i believe the current price isnt reflecting so I'm waiting for a pull back before i even venture into it. The commodity prices will mean lower recycling income. Lower power prices will put pressure on their electrical power generation.
