    everything else is way up! but NOT THIS CRAP!

    Investors have different objectives.

    This is my profile. I'm in for the long term. I have invested a sum of money that does not exceed what I was willing to lose in its ENTIRETY.

    I think we all can agree that Molycorp holds the largest reserves of rare earth minerals in the US today. Yes, mining is cyclical, and the regulatory costs and potential legal liability costs from so many different sectors enormous. It certainly has underperformed the makert taken as a whole.
    Will there one day be technological advances so that there will be substidutes for rare earths in the products containing these element. Quite possibly, How soon? Who knows?

    In the here and now,do we want to be less dependent of the Chinese for these elements? I sure as hell am.

    I believe that Molycorp is best suited for an investor who fits the profile I mentioned in the second paragraph.How many out there are willing to take an "all in" position in this company for the long term?
