With more than half the float short, hard to see how it won't go up on neutral news and especially good news. Short squeezes carry stocks to absurd gains, sometimes. Only really bad news could contain a rally.
What should hold it down ? Shorts !? I think they are more busy to close their positions with profit, than hold it down.
Tomorrow is not interesting - it will cross 10 or 15, before we see any kind of weakness here.
Too much momentum - too many shorts.
It´s just to sit back and enjoy ( and don´t give away any stocks for shorts ! )
Who knows. Congress is back dealing with the looney cliff, and as long as they continue to fake bipartisan cooperation, the markets might have more legs. The big question is what's up with MCP and will it continue... I can't answer that. It's a speculation until tomorrow but I'm sitting on a boatload of calls so you know where I stand.
