Why isn't MCP dropping in price below $7...to the low of $5.75??

I have been watching this for a while and was a believer this was going to run back up, but the stall here between $7.25 and $7.50 clearly demonstrates longs want out and shorts are routinely playing with this stock. I am reasonable to believe in a defensible upside story, but it doesn't' seem to be coming about. On the flip side...why isn't MCP falling below $7?? There are more than enough shares available for shorting according to Interactive Brokers..yesterday there were 2.2 million and, as I write this, there are 1.3 million. What is keeping MCP up in the midst of constant distribution and shorting of shares?

    • Sorry, but you make no sense! Your babling trying to make some sort of something but coming up with nothing, sorry.

    • Try again. Your analysis makes no sense. The current price is always the current market match of buyers and sellers.

      You say:

Huh? The stock price was below the current price 3 months ago. Then it ran to over $11. The last month has been almost all down. And the drop has a solid basis as the projections for the quarter were dropped, the status of Project Phoenix was delayed, the stock was diluted, more debt was acquired, etc.

      You ask:

      • I guess I am really asking...why don't we see a severe drop with capitulation? Do you see MCP continuing its slow drip downwards, a significant and quick drop, or a reversal? There has been significant distribution of shares over the past months. What are your thoughts on the new CEO? Initially, I was encouraged, expecting some stabilization of the share price based on the appearance of a candid and transparent approach.
