I'm very disappointed with this stock's inability to hold even a small gain. Anyone have an explanation for this? Looks like this stock is a day traders' wet dream. I'm trying to hold it for more than 24 hours. LOL.
I bought in at the same price, probably around the same time as you.
MCP is a long-hold for me. Rare-Earths will always be needed, and Precious Metals in addition to RE's are pretty stagnant these days. I give it at least a year or so until MCP is above 7. I'm holding long though, 7 is going to look like peanuts when it's 20+ again years down the road.
The rare earth short experts control all trading action in the very bearish MCP and all upmoves these past several years have been nothing more than collusive short covers by the heavily short banks and funds, for purposes of suckering small specs to buy millions of worthless rare earth call options.
This is a dead stock of the nth degree---move on to the many superior alternatives in the Dow and Nasdaq bull sector, there is NO hope of MCP regaining a bull market, nor any other rare earth, since china controls the rare earth global supply and there is NO rational need for a single non-china rare earth miner to exist today.
