Samuel Adams Imperial Pilsner 2005 Harvest will be available in select specialty beer stores beginning in November 2005, for a suggested retail price of $4.99. The beer is packaged in a 24 oz. bottle, featuring a beautiful label that captures an artistic rendering of a farmer hand selecting the Bavarian hops from the harvest.
had it and it is good. big and hoppy. buddy was trying to buy a case from distributor. flowery and earthy aroma from massive amounts of hallertauer. slight alcohol bite but not as bad as the arrogant bastard. very big beer and something i wish sammy would continue to do. with the exception of thier lager, winter-ale, and fizziwig everything else is commericalized with no distinction or flavor. disappointing. need more beers like this along with 3 weissmen.sammy is losing thier roots as a rebel microbrew and slowly becoming to safe in thier beers.
