For those that like Pizza, check out PZZI. Early days, and lots of wood to chop, but interesting new concept, and if successful, current valuation would provide a heck of a gain.
As always PLEASE due your own DD.
I like the franchise's that have recently signed on. The last one, in addition to having been the former president of Applebee's, is currently on the board of JACK. JACK could use a nice growth story, and using PZZI's Pie Five's concept, along with potentially leveraging it to roll up the other 4 or 5 little start ups trying to execute similar concepts, could be a real winner. Time will tell, but so far we're having fun and making good money, always a good thing. :-)
Looks like a penny stock dumpster dive. Life is too short to eat #$%$ pizza, but perhaps I am spoiled by being in the Chicago area. Chicago sucks, but there is no better place for pizza. I looked at PZZI's website menu and almost barfed just from looking at it. I weep for the poor fools that have to choke down that #$%$.
Peter Lynch suggested buying what you like. I guess that I will not be buying PZZI.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Pizza Inn, is NOT in it's early days. I remember going to Pizza Inn restaurants when I was a kid and I'm in my thirties now. I've looked at it before, but I don't remember seeing anything worth getting excited about enough to buy the stock.
Best look a little deeper. They have an entirely new "FAST CASUAL" restaurant/concept called Pie Five. The press describes it as the Chipotle of pizza, and it was the, " 2012 Hot Concept of the Year winner", named by Nation's Restaurant News.
