If you look around Wall Street these days, it has become fashionable for legal firms to sue every company that has a negative event that causes the stock to go down. Looking at this company, I don't see any justification for a lawsuit. I mean, ADM is the company that backed out of the partnership. How does Metabolix have any responsibility for what another business decides to do? If Metabolix did something wrong which caused ADM to terminate the partnership, then MAYBE a suit would be justified. Does anyone here have a reasonable explanation of what these law firms are going to claim Metabolix did wrong, other than their stock price getting hammered?
