You are likely correct. His deep pocket may come in handy down the road. My simple point is that the lack of openness here has resulted in the stock being all but forgotten. Most people I know have exited during this long, slow decline.
My real frustration is that Kirk and FIDO have done nothing to lock down shares. Check with any stock loan area on the street---this remains quite borrowable. I know some opine that Kirk will get vengeance in the end, but that does very little for regular shareholders who may be forced out along the way.
It is possible that RobCos and others are correct and that Kirk is busy working on ZIOP's behalf. Hopefully we will be let behind the wizard's curtain and be shown a bit of progress. Watch ASCO--maybe we get a hint there. I also hope Kirk's well known deal making skills bear fruit. I wonder if the new CFO was brought in to help on that front.
