    Why Analyst = salesperson?

Analysts work for brokerages rather than small investors like us. In the past two years, I bought when analysts recommended to sell, and my portfolio outperform index by huge margin. Two years ago, I bought ffh at below $60 when those so called analysts recommended to sell, and today ffh rose over $160. A year ago, I bought ttwo at below $30 when those so called analysts recommended to sell, and today ttwo rose over $40. Today I bought drl at nearly $20, because those so called analysts recommended to sell.

Well said. I have same experiences as you do. Every time I followed analysts, I lost money or gain little. Then, I go the opposite way of analysts and beat the market index.

Today, ffh was closed at $163 while ttwo was closed at $41. Today I bought drl at nearly $20, again because those so called analysts recommended to sell.
