Today's news is a short term negative-it tells me PCTI can't get into the semi, handset or defense channel and/or the technology is not compelling enough. Mgt took a chance, if successful, it would have made PCTI a very important company. Too bad it is not going to happen
Intermediate term, I think it is a big positive. Mgt has stated that if they can't get to $150+ million in annual sales, it is not worth being a public company. If Wunderlich is bringing buyers for a division, why not bring in buyers for the whole company-somebody may make an offer mgt can't refuse.
Bottom line, if a DELL deal gets done, then PCTI will sell itself this year close to $10/share.
commandor, the technical aspects of PC Secure are far out of my field. Would you venture a guess on what $ PC Secure could bring in a spinoff or outright sale to a suitable provider? It seems there is value in the intellectual property. GL
