    Employees in the store

No offense, but most folks on this board are more concerned with the stock price thn the lives of the kids who work there.

Especially the shorts who thought the company was "grossly overvalued" at 320 bucks, and are still holding on desperately waiting for the "inevitable" downturn that never comes.

    • napervillai: you think the downturn is not coming???

Oh, it's coming. The valuation is absurd. Have you actually been in one of these places? They are depressing. The burrito is good but is now and will be COPIED even more and sold at a lower price by others. You don't agree???

Any significant foreign expansion or expansion of the much touted slophouse is a fantasy. Span of Management and the overseas reach is a HUGE obstacle. The big boys at CMG have to be howling over how Wall Street bought this one HOOK, LINE and SINKER.

The existing employees and new employees do have some leverage in asking to share the wealth. Organize, unionize. C'mon Steve don't hog all the loot.

    • of course, probably everyone on the board is concerned with the stock price in one regard or another

and cmg's labor costs, which obamacare will impact drastically (management has said as much on the conf. calls), are directly relevant to the stock price as margins will be significantly squeezed as obamacare kicks in
