Chipotle does not have that much growth left in it. The fact is that they will not move into poor neighborhoods like Mickey D's, BK or Taco Smell for two reasons :
1. Most poor people can't afford Chipotle.
2. Those who can order extra rice, extra beans, extra tomato salsa, extra corn, extra cheese, extra sour cream. Wrap it up in two tortillas and gimme a side of dressing too. There's no profit margin in that when they don't charge extra for more toppings. They can't selectively charge extra because that's discrimination.
It is documented that Chipotle has turned down FREE RENT on properties in lower income neighborhoods because they know the reality of the situation. Chipotle opened up 1 restaurant in England 3 years ago and one in France. There is no traction across the pond.
Shophouse? Been open for over a year. They are now opening 2 more. So at that rate they'll have 12 stores in the next decade.
Until Chipotle starts franchising, offering cheaper meats and ingredients or begins serving breakfast, this stock is T-O-A-S-T.
I do like the idea of breakfast on the menu. We'll see how the rest goes, but with McD's 2 big macs for the price of one this month, I think it'll be awhile before the growth numbers materialize, but they will soon enough.
