I did some dd and would appreciate help on one question.
Is Kndi selling their EV to public too or is it exclusively the rental and sharing of cars. For example as a private citizen can we buy them or am I forced to rent due to battery depletion and inability to charge battery.
KNDI's market for EVs is overwhelmingly the Chinese domestic market. In China the big push is for fleet sales, rental and leasing. KNDI does have a 50/50 joint venture with one of the largest auto makers in China, Geely Automotive. EVs produced through that JV will be marketed to the public. I don't believe KNDI EVs will be available here in the US, in any significant numbers, for some considerable time into the future. They are not focused on export sales of their EVs at present. KNDI does have a considerable "Legacy Business" that does have a very significant export business to the US and they sell Utility Vehicles and Go Karts extensively here in the US. The Legacy Business is growing at a very significant rate year after year with significant increases in US sales and KNDI Go Karts and Utility Vehicles are available all over the US at present.
Thank-you to all you responded. I am trying to figure out projected sales numbers. I was aware of pilot program for car sharing however if public can buy car too with subsidy then sales numbers can be much higher hence, very bullish.
