EMC: Reit Overweight - EMC is scheduled to report second quarter results on Tuesday, July 20. We do not expect EMC`s June quarter results to disappoint, despite a storage environment exhibiting weaker than expected demand levels. But we are lowering our June numbers to consensus owing to softer demand conditions in June.
We are lowering June revenue and EPS estimates to $1.97 billion and $0.08, down from $1.99 billion and $0.09 previously. We are lowering September revenues slightly, but leaving our EPS estimate unchanged.
- We believe that EMC represents one of the most attractive growth stories in our coverage group. EMC trades at 19 times calendar 2005 EPS estimate, versus the networked storage peer group average of 23 times. With continued share gains and improving operating leverage expected later this year, we believe EMC shares will outperform the peer group in coming months. We maintain our Overweight rating.
good point, all federal representatives practice regionalism when it comes to approprations. Thats why taxes will never really go down and federal spending will never go down either. TAX/SPEND thats the only thing Bi-partisan in American politics.
there will be no rally AT ALL leading into this election, the terrorist have investors in this country scared to death that there will be a big event before the election. I am going to cash by labor day
I agree completely. I stated that there would be no rally up to the election based on re-electing Bush. I think Kerry is teerible for the market. Probably positive for the bond market. His record in mass. is clear...get re-elected and follow a left-wing, government spending agenda.
you obviously have NO clue about John Kerry's Record... HE HAs done nothing for the state of Mass and he will bring the market down.. increasing taxes. He's promised that.. and only the RICH folk like him $1bil will pay more...
