Ed, we both made the same mistake. I had just remarked to my wife that our stock account was about to set a new milestone. That is the kiss of death for market performance. I apologize to everyone on the board for causing this downdraft.
Ed, Vin and Bod,
You guys have been great posters and have always shared your ideas and theories. The difference between you and some other posters who just like to brag daily about their brokerage account highs is that you recognize mistakes when you make them, share your positions and investment theories and lessons learned and aren't afraid to challenge conventional wisdom. The occassional update on your portfolio return is okay because your posts are never about self-congratulations. I only wished I followed more of your ideas.
