As of April 30 close the NAV was reported as $9.76 and the closing share price was $9.94. The premium is down to 1.84%.
Does anyone know if the $9.76 NAV includes the $.065 dividend that the stock went X-Div on April 28 but will not be paid until May 12?
I'm curious to know what someone is buying now. If I can buy today at $9.94, am I buying a NAV of $9.76 or am I buying a NAV of $9.695 because the seller that would sell me the shares would get the $.065 on May 12? I guess the question I'm asking is--- Is the NAV that is reported, including the Dividend to be paid or is it a net figure excluding the dividend that will be paid?
Thanks for any info anyone might have.
DNP went x-d on April 28. On that date the NAV was reduced by the amount of the distribution. The NAV at the close on April 30 already takes into account the April distribution, even though it is not paid until May 12.
