the stock has help up admirably well considering the 30 mil shares have now already been dumped into the marketplace. this has been done over 5 days, putting and average of about 10 times as many shares as normal in play each day.
That's a ridiculous assumption you are making. Here's why:
1. This stock hasn't held up for shit. <20% increase in shares and it's almost dumped 50% from it's $6.39 high. In fact, when they priced that stock at $4.50, they were already taking into account the affect of added shares.
2. The fact that it hasn't already plummeted to $1 probably has something to do with whatever secret handshaking gentleman's agreement to hold onto the shares for a certain period of time. One has to wonder what type of kickbacks the brokers who bought the shares got from their friends at JP Morgan...maybe just a reach around for the next time the other tries this little stock holder circle jerk.
