Perhaps no bottom, because Management does not believe
I feel that management's and insider's desire to sell, and continued plans to do so shows management's lack of faith. If they were confident of their ability to execute, they would stand with the rest of shareholders and say they are suspending all sales rather than accept 50 cents on the dollar. The fact that their plan is to continue to sell lots of shares (though they have cut back some), indicates a lack of conviction.
Somebody convince me why this can't drop below 5, at which point institutions are forced out, and this stock is done.
I want to believe, but management and the tape are telling a different story.
The last volume of any consequence was on November 8th. Since then it has been slowly sliding on low volume. It is building cause; the short interest is getting unwound and the smart money is quietly accumulating shares. They do no not want the company of the funds and us specs. It will rise quickly when they are ready and then and only then will you see bullish news.
A nice high-end close. It is being quietly accumulated.
My price-momentum indicator on the weekly is at an all-time low and actually ticked up this week; longer-term downside momentum appears to be dead.
On the daily that same momentum indicator is flat to up. The MACD histogram is now near zero; to be exact, minus 0.0043; a cross over is eminent. Volume since the drop under $12 has been steadily decreasing.
