    • I'm sorry but I see no way that Apple would buy Skullcandy? If apple wanted to buy a company it would buy Beats. Beats has more of a premium title then Skullcandy. Also skullcandy I feel isn't appealing to the masses. I think grandmas and moms see a skull and would be turned away.
Skullcandy is a good brand and I like it and I own SKUL and AAPL but as an AAPL investor I dont see this at all.

    • Not sure about that rumor. However, I was in Best Buy last night checking out the latest in headphones and earbuds trying to stay somewhat in touch with the market trends. I noticed that the Skullcandy earbuds were not in the earbud section, but rather an aisle over with the Ipod accessories. No other brands were in this section. I did not understand why and wondered if this was good or bad??

Clerk said Skullcandy earbuds are still most popular and headphones are second to Beats....probably a distant second. I did notice Sol's were discounted $100...yikes.

      • Makes sense as the current perceived market trend is that ear-buds are more mobile / active wear. Besides BBY has designated a lot of real estate to over the ear (obscene amount in my opinion). I have seen deep discounting in all the "designer" high end sets. I also have seen a trend in dislike for these expensive brands mostly related to quality issues and durability.

    • I and then a coincidence we up 10cents..?
