I have had it up to my neck seeing Skullcandy promoting the likes of Wale, Stevie Johnson, Kate Upton and the dozen skaters etc WITHOUT seeing any feedback from the endorsers. Most recently they flew in the "Skullcandy Crew" into Park City to have a "play day" bob sledding, skiing etc. in a high tech water resort (I believe this is where all the employees have their memberships) I see post after post on FaceBook of all their "guys" skating, motocross, skiing etc all decked out with other branding and that includes the event background with NOTHING relating to Skullcandy. It's almost as if they are sucking up to their hero's so they can hang and party with them.
Get a clue how to sell product idiots!
This earnings call is going to be a disaster mark my words...
There is about $5m in cost savings in 2014. This company is being primed for a takeover. I think Hoby is all business. I also still believe Wescoat was brought in for a takeover and his job will be done in September. I think a buyout will come in at $12 per share.
