    • Its called earnings! Do you live under a rock?

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Hard to say but there is news today. One of the BOD members (Dan Tierney) filed a trading plan to sell around 1.5 million shares. He was a founder of Getco and I've always expected the deal with Knight was in part designed to allow Getco founders to finally monetize their investment.

What that means in the long term I dunno. On the one hand one hates to see insiders selling but on the other hand it does increase share liquidity and that is something that has been sorely lacking.

I wouldn't sell for less than tangible book as there is just no reason that I can see to do so but I don't see everything so maybe I'm missing something.

      • 1.5 million is chump change. That is a mere 1.3% of the float and these shares were tied to the restricted period. The earnings were so good and the positioning of Knight so well executed that this is a small payday if Dan actually sells his shares. He is merely unlocking the shares. Man you posters have nervous scared money out here. Do you even comprehend what Knight does and why it is perfectly positioned for the future of increased trading efficiency? You dopes salivate over junk like facebook but you don't have clue about how stock market volumes are going to skyrocket over the next 20 years. Knight is the global leader in this field. The regulatory barriers and the cost of the infrastructure is so high that Knight is as dominant as Microsoft was in the PC OS.

What's the point? This a a yahoo board populated by the angry chump change crowd that teats every stock like a candian penny stock... Knights earnings alone justify a price of $15 a share. Knight is cheap as dirt. In two years, it will be a $30 stock.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • Well, there is intelligent life on the KCG Message Board. I might have to start checking in more often! Thanks.
