    UOL Publishing, Inc. and Park College Launch
    Web-Based Degree Completion
    Program to More Than 3,500
    Students

    McLEAN, Va., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- UOL Publishing, Inc.
    (Nasdaq: UOLP -
    news), a publisher of interactive and
    on-demand Web-based courseware for
    the corporate
    training and education market, and Park College, an

    institution of higher education with a home campus in
    Parkville, Mo.,
    announced today the success of a new
    online degree completion program in
    Management.

    With the launch of this program, Park College has more
    than doubled its
    current online course offerings
    to a total of 56. Over the last 12
    months, more
    than 3,500 students took online courses through Park

    College's virtual campus, which was designed, managed, and
    hosted by UOL
    Publishing, Inc. The newly announced
    Management Program began this fall,
    and is pending
    accreditation.

    Park College, with 12,000
    extended-learning students nationwide, has
    gained a national
    reputation for delivering high-quality online
    education
    to significant numbers of continuing education
    students. In
    less than two years, Park's online
    enrollments have increased by a
    factor of 25.
    Furthermore, the number of students taking courses from

    overseas has increased each term.

    ``Our greatest
    measure of the success of the online programs we offer in

    partnership with UOL is student and instructor
    satisfaction,'' said Dr.
    Tom Peterman, vice president, Park
    College School of Extended Learning.
    ``Students'
    ratings for our online courses are routinely higher than

    those for the same courses taught in a traditional
    format. In addition,
    individuals and their employers
    are satisfied because we are able to
    offer cost
    savings and flexibility for their continuing education

    needs.''

    Nat Kannan, chief executive officer, UOL
    Publishing, Inc., added, ``Park
    College has been one of
    UOL's success stories. According to a recent
    survey
    conducted by InterEd, the average student enrollment in the
    top
    online distance learning programs is 1,300
    students, less than half of
    our student base at Park.
    With our partnership, both organizations bring

    students to the table: Park College with its traditional
    students and
    UOL from within its corporate
    customers.''

    The UOL's VCampus online learning
    environment, instructors and students
    in Park College's
    School for Extended Learning have at their finger tips

    a full-featured Web-based registration, tracking
    and reporting system
    that facilitates the
    delivery and administration of online courses in a

    customized fashion.

    In addition to Park College,
    other UOL academic partners include: Aims
    Community
    College; California State University; Dominguez Hills;

    California State University Institute; Clemson University;
    Duquesne
    University; Eastern Michigan University;
    George Mason University;
    Northeastern University;
    Regent; San Jose State University; Texas
    Extension
    System; University of Toledo; and Wichita State
    University.
