If you expect the pps to shoot up today I think you will be disappointed...the information released yesterday was very very good but let's be REALISTIC...(is that even possible here?) There was nothing new just affirmation of their abstract already priced in to the pps...the world of investing is not full of people who run to invest (just because of early signs of success) in a bio play like CUR that's likely 6 years away from selling NSI-189 and they have a bunch of hurdles to jump through in the meantime...I will be happy with any gains and frankly not surprised or disappointed if there is a pull back. But then I think I have realistic expectations and am willing to be patient...I do believe there will be a growing awareness because of their early success that will over time continue to drive share price higher...and yes once we pass $5.00 and hold a bit it will attract institutional investing in greater numbers...I really really like this company but I am not in love with them to the point that I believe (as some seem to) that they cannot fail...realistic expectations and patience are what I think investors need...not a traders mindset that the price should be blasting off on EVERY news story and PR etc...but then I also don't EXPECT people (with a few exceptions) to be realistic here...

Fava could publish his article at any given time along with the (very slight) chance we see MRI data. We could also be hit with an ALS bombshell one day with an FDA nod. Add to that the there is always a chance of good news coming from Asia with the stroke trial and the start of the SCI. There is always a chance of waking up to a surprise PR with all these lines in the water....you never know when one will bite. I will not be playing the bounce for that exact reason.
So yanks.....here is to hopefully never seeing you here again. Cheers!
I was following STEM for some years and that is a good example of what can happen. I started watching it in 2005 and bought and sold for small profits. Then the bottom fell out and a lot of the people there lost 90% of their money, this is a company that was in business for decades. They still are making promises as CUR is but I think cur has a diversified offering which may help us with stability.
As an addendum to my comments the pps has now dropped .25 from today's high (so far) as of this post....reality check for some of the prognosticators here...hopefully it will finish out the day strong...it may or may not I will be quite satisfied if it holds a 10 cent gain...but I am not in the prediction business...as for people who like to speculate about my motives...In 2014 I TRADED CUR very successfully and along the way my continuing research made me more of a believer. I decided in January to buy and stay long as long as long as the company made what I considered to be reasonable progress which is pretty obvious that they have...I have quite a lot of my IRA in CUR and am adding as I can...I am up about 25% since I started reacquiring shares...one person here has made some quite amusing "guesses" as to my motivations...I personally don't have time or energy for such ridiculousness and he has been put on ignore...let me be very clear..barring anything unforeseeable I think CUR is a tremendous INVESTMENT at this point and have recommended the stock to friends to buy and hold...If you are reading this and do not yet own it I say the same...I also tell friends not to be stupid and keep an eye on things...this stock has a clear history of volatility...today's gains could be gone by tomorrow...I am very comfortable with this reality and I don't get too excited by short term gains nor do I get depressed by short term losses...
Also if someone (including me) ticks you off here do yourself a favor and put them on ignore...it's so much nicer here without their BS.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I think the price drop is proof of your point, which is we can't get too emotional on the stock. Expectations should be realistic. The stock could drop on a failed trial, there are NO guarantees. I am long on CUR and will exhibit patience and try to temper expectations. I know what you were saying and I also think Alex brings good points to the table as well but he let his emotions get to him today by dogging you. You weren't bashing at all.
In other words, you want to see CUR's share price go lower so you can buy shares. And if you think there was nothing new at that presentation yesterday, you weren't paying attention.
