After looking at the marketplace, I feel that New York Community Bank and TDBankNorth would be an excellent match for TDBankNorth to get into the Long Island suberbs and to get additional branches.
TDBankNorth only has 2 Branches in the NY Metro area, and will likely want to expand out. One of those ways can be the acquisition of NY Community bank.
TDBankNorth will actually make it more competitive as fund availability policies are excellent and they even offer unlimited ATM refunds and you can use any Visa ATM (the worlds largest network) to withdrawl with NO SURCHARGES to worry about since they refund all fees.
I am sure your mother is very proud of your attitude towards those seeking help. And your language belongs in the gutter. By the sounds of it you are a very young, know it all, with a filthy mouth and not much behavioral education. What you need is to be spanked since you are acting like a 3 year old. Grow up Mr. Bigshot and realize that not all people that post on here know about the market. It's a free country and if you do not have anything WORTHWHILE to say then keep your opinions to yourself, since they are worth nothing. I have no interest in your response since it will be just as juvinile as you so I will put you on ignore. Too bad your mom didn't know about birth control.
If Gordon knows so much I wish he would have just given some insight into TD and TDBNK. I am NOT a broker, nor do I work on Wall Street. I use my money to pay bills. This is my only investment and all I asked for was a little information. I was told that the only stupid question is the one that is never asked. Sorry for bothering you hotshot millionaires.
I don't see much downside to this stock unless they cut the dividend which is always a possibility but unlikley. I think at these prices it's a good opportunity to load up. Earn your 6 % and once we get back to a more traditional yield curve you will see some appreciation. Throw in the potential for a buyout and I can't see why you wouldn't want to add shares if you can or at the very least hold what you have.
I agree with you 100%. This is a case of taking one small pile of shit and adding it to another pile to make one big pile of shit. Makes sense to me. In fact why don't you add in Sovereign, taking three piles of shit and making one huge pile. What do you think of that?
please explain what you are basing your comments on. TD is selling for 50.66 with a divy of 1.58......what's the bad side?? I know nothing of this bank so I would really appreciate some insight. Thanks
