I just read in Barron's online newspaper that John Tsimbinos purchased 50,000 shares of NYB on January 21, 2010 at prices of $15 to 15.25/share, for a total amount of approximately $756,000.00
To me, this is HUGE, as Tsimbinos is usually selling his shares, when NYB reaches close to a 52 week high, NOT buying shares.
Tsimbinos must be quite optimistic about NYB's stock price increasing, in the next 12-24 months.
I am quite surprised and very excited about this insider purchase. This should bode well for NYB's prospects.
So Wazoo does equal Vostok. Two sign-ons. One named after a cheap vodka and the other named after your mother's favorite love orifice. Say hello to the girl for me when you see her next. ;)
BTW, DCUM is likely going into receivership.
Methinks you is wrong and as short as pinko Steve...
I'm long both NYB and DCOM...so is it a crime to own both banks? Is it a crime to merge both banks and obtain a synergy of operation?
Or are you a socialist like O'Bama, and the jerky cum back-cracker, Steve Zero?
Know this Mr. Ficalora usually gets what he wants. He wants DCOM but at his price. Lets see what the market decides. Not what FBR and all the other scumbag pirates want.
Does Wazoo = Vostok? Both with an affinity for DCOM. Methinks YOU might be shorting on the anticipation of NYB taking over the Dime.
Ain't gonna happen. The only banks NYB are going to "buy" are the ones handed to them on a silver platter by the FDIC.
I'm positive that you are a short. Only a backbiting short twerp would act as you do. A medical professional my ass! A charlatan back cracking bozo indeed!
Here is something to consider, snake oil salesman, if NYB gets it right and finally does a deal with DCOM ALL SHAREHOLDERS will profit.
And by the way Dr. Zachery Smith, do you treat your alleged patients with disrespect?
I always attempt to be a gentleman and to give the other person, the benefit of the doubt. However, when someone throws 'unwarranted stones," like vostobok, or makes cynical replies, like you (upthewazoowithoutapaddleandtheboatisleaking), it's both fun and appropriate to throw stones back - with a theatrical legendary politeness - of course !!!!
Maybe you (up the wazoo) and Vostobok can both ask for a job, from Tsimbinos, "that old chap who is loyal NYB shareholder," and use up all of the idle time you have.
Invectives anyone?? Oh, let me not forget to GLTA!!!
5 Stars! Good things are afoot. Every analyst is raising their target rate or at least affirming their current target rate, which is higher than the current price. The asset quality remains strong and my gut says something else big is in the pipeline for NYB. Glad to be a shareholder!
