The possibility that HCBK that was bought out is going to be replaced with NYB in S&P 500 seems pretty obvious. Any thoughts?

Applied logic.This information wouldn't be publicly available at the moment. The speculation that NYB is going to be included in S&P500 was around for the past 2-3 years at least. Now when HCBK is going out is the perfect time.
