I've owned this stock for years, and recently sold at $14.62. I had 11,000 shares at a cost of about $10.50. Wait a few days v=before buying back in...virtually all earnings reports will be anti-climactic in my opinion. If the market corrects, (which it should) this becomes more intriguing around $12.50.
NYB is a buy and hold stock. I have had it for close to a generation, being called out once at a fantastic profit and buying back in a year later when it had another sell off. In the 70s I owned another bank that I sold off in 87' and used the money to move from the mainland to Hawaii.
Hold NYB, re invest dividends, VIP only a part of your portfolio, and sell CC when it is at a premium.
