All the REITs have been clobbered. At least the ones I own. (1) They've had an incredible run, so profit taking was inevitable; and (2) there's a fear that interest rates are about to start rising.
I bought more SNH today. I couldn't believe that the opportunity to lock in a 6% yield was available again. I have it in my retirement account. Added to my other REITs as well. Rising rates will make me a lot more comfortable about retirement. I hope they do rise. I still have a lot of cash, earning almost nothing.
