I've been holding since May of 2012. I have to admit, I'm a little spooked by this weeks earnings announcement. I think if they meet or beat we go a lot higher. If they miss then I may have to bail as I think it would get hammered since their competitors all announced good earnings.
You and I are about the same. Your average must be in the 3's or 4's. As I recall from last earnings they almost reported a profit but not quite. This quarter with the Freddie deal and improving metrics a profit is all but guaranteed. In the highly unlikely case a loss is reported I will continue to hold since I know in about 10-15 years RDN will be $90+.
Yes my average was that low and then tripled down at the beginning of the year which brought my average up to $5 - hoping for a nice earnings pop so I can sell 1/3 of my holdings to recoup my total investment and then let the other 2/3's ride for a long time.
