This really makes a lot of sense. Morgan Stanley owns the GP of TLP, and they really have their hands tied. Even before the Bank Holding Company issues, they didn't seem inerested in growing TLP. MS simply wants to have physical assets to help them with their commodity trades. It gives them the ability to park crude in storage when futures markets allow them to arbtrage the difference in the cost of storage and futures.
TLP would be a great addition in KMP, MMP and even PAA. I coul also see them beng rolled into NS or BPL.
